No, roaming is not free in Turkey for most European (EU) or UK SIM card holders. This is a common and often expensive surprise for many digital nomads. Although Turkey has a geographic footprint in Europe, it is definitively NOT part of the EU's 'Roam Like at Home' initiative. Your domestic plan will likely incur substantial international roaming charges. Truly Roaming offers a predictable, cost-effective solution, ensuring you stay connected for work without the risk of unexpected fees from your home carrier.
